Atlanta, Georgia

As the busiest airport in the world, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) demands the highest levels of coordination, accuracy, and efficiency. Abbie Jones Consulting was proud to support the modernization of Concourse D, a crucial terminal hub serving millions of domestic travelers annually.

Our team provided utility layout staking and civil plan support, playing a vital role in upgrading the facility’s underground infrastructure. Concourse D required strategic phasing, high-level communication, and precision execution to allow operations to continue uninterrupted during construction—making it one of the more complex airport environments we’ve contributed to.

From storm and sanitary lines to grading and paving coordination, our work ensured each component of the infrastructure aligned with the design team’s vision and the airport’s stringent safety and operational requirements.

📐 Scope of Work

  • Utility layout staking (storm, sanitary, water)

  • Site grading and drainage coordination

  • Civil plan integration during phased construction

  • On-site contractor support for real-time adjustments

🚧 Why It Matters

This project wasn’t just about upgrading a terminal—it was about supporting resilience and modernization in one of the most critical transportation hubs in the U.S.. Our contributions reflect our ability to operate in high-stakes, high-security environments while delivering precise, on-schedule deliverables.
